Water from the Sky?

Contrary to popular belief, water does occasionally fall from the sky in Fresno in August. This reporter has learned that said phenomenon is commonly called "rain." (Thanks to this newfangled research device called "the Internet.")
The above and below pictures confirm the presence of this stuff called "rain" in Fresno this morning, in case you might not believe the authenticity of the (dis)information found on Sembits.

I took this picture just seconds after the first one in an effort to scientifically document the rain, but then I thought, "Oh, they'll just think that Karl turned on the sprinklers." In an effort at further documentation I took the below picture from my office window just seconds after hearing a loud clap of thunder and seeing insanely bright and jagged lightening.
True story! Rain in Fresno in August! (Or was it the Second Coming?)

If it was the Second Coming wouldn't that mean we were left... never mind.

Left Behind? (Key the doomsday music in the background that sounds like dum-de-dum-dum-dum...)
